Beyond Vegan Pizza

Pizza is one of the easiest meals to piece together, but it does require a lot of preparation and multitasking in the kitchen.

I would recommend having your tomato sauce complete and ready prior to starting and your toppings precut. For my choice of toppings I usually opt for oyster mushrooms, peppers, onion, tomatoes (sliced or crushed) lightly seasoned with sea salt.

I drizzled some of the pinenut cheese sauce recipe from the previous post as a cheese and set it on broil in the oven for a few minutes. For the foundation and crust, follow the spelt dough recipe, however, replace spring water with sparkling spring water. For the spelt dough recipe, you can toss all the ingredients into a food processor to save time.

Pizza is a dish you can get creative with, have fun and experiment. I hope this inspires you to do so.
